Jewel

Jewel stood
Leaned
Lounged
Against
Hid it all
Back
Elegant
Till the last
Tucked in tight
She stood
Will stand
Into the night
Her dress of pieces of fleck
Glitter sparks
To catch the eye
Reflect the candle fire
She didn't need it
They would have seen her anyway
They would have wanted her anyway
They would have drunk her site in…any way…
The fire backlit her deep warm skin
Skin oiled and bathed in milk
Smoothed with salt
Clean
Outside
Jewel
Oh how
They wanted her
Oh how
They did pay
Mightily
For her special company…

Jewel held out a perfect hand
A hand led with fingertips
Towards a room
Dark and shadowed
Velvet and draped
Perfumed sweet
Lavender her scent
The dress of shine dropped
In a cascade of light
In a sudden manor
His pupils widened
At her sight
Lace sheet
Pillow satin
Body's black white
Tongue lips
In out
Splashes
Onto her
She counted the seconds till morn
She counted the crystals above
She counted the rainbows
Distracting herself
From this thing
That happened to her body
She tried not to cry
If she did
Tears coming
She played them away
Part of the pleasure
Part of the game
Part of the part…this thing

Done
Finished
Gone
He went
With a smile
A small, gentle, lavender towel wiped him away
Now alone
She lay in this beautiful room
A beautiful girl with dark skin soft
Hollow
Creature there ever was
On the nightstand facing her was a bust
A perfect recreation
Of her twins spirit
She
Now gone
Lost on the wind
Jewel decorated it with roses and pictures and sayings of love
The things her twin would have
Whispered
The sonnets
She would have said to get Jewel through each night
Next to the bust was a gold heart
A necklace
Delicate
Carved with scenes of beasts
Wild
And inside that heart held
A vile of pure
Deep
Potent
Belladonna
A poison
Made from trumpet flowers
